We comedy types are a roughty toughty bunch. If the queen was assassinated tomorrow most of England would be blubbing and buying flowers to rot outside Buck palace. But we comics, we'd be sending in a 1,000 versions of The Queen is Dead, or God slays the queen to News Revue.
But what film makes you sad, maybe blub a little? Penetrates that hard concrete, satire ridden heart of yours?
Me
Testament, about the saddest Nuke war film ever. Where the mum is sewing her daughters shroud, whilst talking about all the stuff she'll never do.
Plague Dogs, that ending.
Watership down, a couple of bits were dead sad.
Sophie's Choice, the choice scene, of course.
