Thanks, Perry. Have you read any of the UFO books? I've got through a ton of them, Whitley Streiber, Tim Good, Budd Hopkins etc etc. Communion is one of the best known, by Whitley Streiber. I also like this one.

Did you ever have any vaguely related follow up experiences?

Communion was fab. But the follow-up books got a bit far-fetched even for me. Yes I've read the alien agenda book. Very interesting.

What is their agenda? (The aliens, not the pandas - we all know what they're up to)

I'd say anything that could beat the billion miles of distance in the Universe, would be absolutely beyond our perception.

As such the idea that such an entity would fly, around, and peer through windows seems well odd.

To beat those kind of distances they'd almost certainly have become an entity of pure energy at some stage.

If they could do that, why bother with ships or anything.

Or toilets.

I agree. It seems odd that massively advanced alien beings (and they'd have to be to get here) would waste their time abducting the odd sheep farmer.

I don't like quoting GK Chesterton this early in the day, but I will: " When men stop believing in God they don't believe in nothing - they believe in anything."

The theory in the book mentioned above is that they have been working on making human/alien hybrids in order to eventually replace the human race, which may be destroyed by them. I think that was it, I haven't read it for a couple of years. But it's got some amazing stuff regarding humans meeting and having relationships with hybrids, which I've never heard of before.

I'd like more research to be done regarding abductees. Who cares what the ships look like? If we know who's being taken, and apparently this is supposed to be very large numbers of people every night, maybe we can then find out when it might happen, and what can we then do about it?

I have another quote!
Lighthouses are more helpful than churches. — Benjamin Franklin

'course there's aliens.

I was compelled to look out of my bedroom window and there was a face looking in at me.

It was only years later when I saw the gray aliens on Close Encounters that I realised they were close to what I'd seen.

lol - just imagine Perry watching Dreyfuss and co and yelling out "it was them"

Also quite ammusing that these aliens have all the power and skill to get to Earth then spend their time looking at little boys through their windows :D

Perry might have been a gorgeous little boy that aliens came from billions of light years away just to look at... Of course, he's gone to seed in recent years.

I'm in favour of the panda explanation. Or possibly

I have to admit, much as I like DVDs, CDs etc, I have a weakness for books. I have a mountain to get through as well due to having buying binges - then I take years to get around to reading them.
