It really bugs me that Paul McGann is considered a real doctor. He was only in one episode and he was awful.
Actually he was a ruddy good DR with some good stories, but he was post Tom Baker and there for always in his shadow.
Now Patrick Troughton, he was cool, an unusually bad tempered sinister DR.

Well he's been in books, and audio stuff. So to the fanbos he's real enough.

I only remember watching and being very disappointed - which didn't happen with eccleston or tennant or even silvester mccoy, so I don't think it's the tom baker effect...
