Richard E Grant would actually make an ace Doctor, but he's probably too old for a New Who part.
Are there any things in the Dr. Who lore that haven't been brought back that would be good? Can't think of anything off the top of my head. He's had an alien companion (Jack), K9 etc. Maybe have Davros as a companion for a while would be good.
Mickey was a companion for a bit - does that count as a boy companion?
Or as his bitch on a lead?

It seems like a good idea on the face of it but I think he might ham it up a bit much. He certainly did on the Comic Relief special.

It's been girls all the way since it came back. And they even made a big fuss about how Donna is older/not sexually attracted to him, so they could change the dynamic.
