I always wanted an Comodore64 coz they had cooler games but I loved my Spectrum. Had an old BBC before that with Chuckie Egg on it. Rocking!!

OMG Chuckie Egg! I was addicted to that for years! It got dead hard when the bird thing in the corner came out of its cage.

Fair enough.

I only said that because someone just said I was in reply to my biology joke. "Hey, what's guanine?"

You made a biology joke? Tut tut.

Also am I missing something, why is "what's guanine?" a joke?

The internet as a domestic tool has only really been domestic for the last 10-15 years.

Well I'll give you that one.

I'm afraid I didn't have Puff the Magic Dragon.

And again another great game! I think it sounded something like 'ghoththbuthterth' - yet it was still light years ahead of the beepy music in other games.
Renegade was ace as well.

On which note...

As a few of you may know, my mum is a primary school teacher. At the moment, a number of the school's staff are going around doing home visits, meeting children who will be joining the school's playgroup in September.

Today, one particular three year old told them that he wants to be a drug dealer when he grows up, and that he will make his spliffs from whatever is available.

Three years old.

LOL!

Oh dear.

Will they be vetoing that particular child...?

No idea. I worry about the parents though.
