Did I make you look a tit?

I've got that covered myself.

Yeah, agree with Seefacts here -- yesterday's game was pretty poor. Spain looked alright but Russia were very poor in comparison to their other games.

Spain'll have to play a lot better to get anything off Germany (my sweepstake team -- come on!!)

Dan

I think the reverse of that statement is true. Germany will have to play a lot lot better to beat Spain.

Defo Germany played pants.

Get in Fernando!!!! Come on Spain!!!!

"HIS ARMBAND PROVED HE WAS A RED, TORRES, TORRES!
YOU'LL NEVER WALK ALONE IT SAID, TORRES, TORRES
WE BOUGHT THE LAD FROM SUNNY SPAIN,
HE GET'S THE BALL HE'LL SCORES AGAIN,
FERNANDO TORRES LIVERPOOL'S NUMBER 9!"

I've just put a tenner on the game finishing as a draw, after 90 minutes, at odds of 3/1. I phoned Ladbrokes up just as the second half kicked off, and this woman kept me talking for 12 minutes, before she let me put the bet on, as she suspected my credit card had expired.

Crazy bat.

Why did she think that?

Sweet! Spain won. They deserve the win.

Crazy bat.

Why did she think that?

Her computer was giving her wrong information. Anyway, I wish I hadn't done it now!

How much money did you lose?

For how long though?>

A tenner. Then again, I won 12 quid at the start of the tournament, so I haven't really lost any of my own money.

David, I assure you Torres will be a Liverpool player for many years to come.

David, I assure you Torres will be a Liverpool player for many years to come.

Doesn't he want to win any more trophies then?

lol, Actually David I'll have you know that Torres will have a lot of Carling Cups and Charity Shields if he stays at Liverpool. But on a serious note I'm certain he'll be here for years to come. Because;

1) Leaving Athletico was very hard for him, therefore I believe he will want to prove to people that joining Liverpool was a good decision.

2) The Spanish influence at Liverpool will make life easier for him.

3) The fans worship the guy. And I'm not just saying this because I am a Liverpool fan myself but I don't think he would be adored by the fans as much anywhere else in the world. (God that sounds arrogant)

4) At the end of the day Liverpool are a top four team in the best league in the world so he does have a realistic chance of winning trophies.

So I personally can't see him leaving anytime soon.
