What are you listening to now? Page 254

That's a shame if you can't remember. Were you any good?

Not really. I just did a lot of jumping around like a crazy...

If you find any Ben Folds, could you tell me please?

I've been looking too!

Surely a noble quest!

Aah well. Perhaps you'll do better next time.

I don't know that they'll ask me back after that atrocity!

My friend wants to play Glastonbury eventually, you can jump around for them if they make it. That's if Glastonbury starts to accept parody bands...

I'm listening to Johnny Walker and at the moment it's one of those shit patronising Paul Simon records.

I'll fight the corner for that! You know my sentiments on *that* song.

That would make you their first (and last) fan. :P

Have more faith in them! Maybe them saying you're mean springs from you not seeing their potential? Or maybe I'm delussioned...

Delussioned? Delusional? Probably. :P

They aren't a good band, two of them love Death Metal and the other loves Indie. They end up compromising on this horrific Foo Fighters parody. It's a joke band anyway, none of them are too serious about it. I hope not anyway.

I'm quite embarrassed at the ridiculous amount they made me laugh now!

Why?

I went to see a David Bowie tribute last night. It was really good. Played all the classics. Did a cover of Waterloo Sunset too. Did Bowie ever cover that? I know he did David Watts. Didn't he?

They were called Aladdinsane, by the way.

Why?

Because it probably wasn't as funny as I thought it was - like the picture of a shoe war Katie had left in my inbox for me.
(Listening to Kings of Leon.)

He does do lots of covers - usually at least one on every album, and he also did Pin Ups which was all 60s covers but it doesn't ring any bells with me.

You have picture of a shoe war? Is it an exotic shoe war? With dinosaurs? And bikinis?
