Odd.

Yeah, that is a kids show, and looked like it-the big computer coming out of the flimsy wall and talking! It is a good kids show though mind.

I caught the last couple of episodes, and was rather under the impression that Mr. Smith had been written out, so was surprised by his appearance.

From what I remember, he was secretly bad, but then, after K9 shot at him, or something, his 'bad programming' was wiped out, leaving only a nice Mr Smith. I think Im right that something along those lines happened. There were some good stories in the Sarah Jane series, one where she was made to have died as a child and so the future was changed was very good.
So, she had sex with a computer? Or was this just a weird name thing?
Crazy kids' shows these days.

Yes, she bummed a computer. Bummed it till it bled. I think the names more a reference to the Doctor, I think so anyway. He always calls himself John Smith if he has to come up with a name.
Kinky.
BTW Am I the only one who thinks Sarah Jane still looks incredibly hot?
Quote: Winterlight @ June 28 2008, 8:08 PM BSTAnd doesn't Sarah Jane still look hot? She's like 60!
Ultra-surprise ending notwithstanding (and my guess concurs with earlier posters that everything isn't what it seems), unfortunately this episode lived down to my expectation. I thought it was a jumbled mess. There are good bits in it, but most of it broke a lot of rules badly. The main problem for me was that it invested a lot of time in creating predicaments for characters who I didn't even know. You see, we don't all watch Torchwood or Sarah Jane. It was disturbing, trust me: I ended up wanting more Donna Noble in this one - at least she is a character from Dr Who.
PS This is just my opinion.
Many a good tune...

Sorry, I posted in between but, no, you aren't alone. She is hot.

Yes, agreed. It would have been nice to have some kind of explanation or build-up in some way, so that at least it would have made a bit more sense to people who don't watch them.
Yes it must have been confusing. I of course watch all of them. So, ha.
I liked them all asking 'Who's that boy...?' about Sarah Jane's son. Although I'm not sure if they were getting at what my mind imagined they were getting at...
Yes, I thought it was a mess, and as usual with Russell T. the science was about on a par with Flash Gordon.
