I would quite like to be going to Reading this year, but sadly it's not to be!

I would prefer a smaller festival. I think Latitude would've been great. You would've loved it actually. Indie bands, stand up comics and poets including Simon Armitage.

I think the larger these festivals get the more difficult it is to build up a community spirit. I'm being dragged along to a small folk festival with my family. Normally that's ok, not really into any of the music though.

My brother's been to Reading every year for the past three years.

I can't think of anything I'd like less.

It doesn't strike me as one of the better festivals. Quite an unappealing line up and the more mainstream these things become the more 'chavs' and other undesirables appear.

I'm pretty sure Glastonbury is always on very close to my birthday, so I don't think it's earlier than usual.

I've never been to a proper music festival, overnight type thing, in tents.

Yes, I really wanted to go to Latitude! Simon Armitage was just one of the perks...:P

They sound muddy, cold, and terribly uncivilised.

I went to the Wireless Festival in Hyde Park last year, but only for the day, and it was amazing! If it had been wet or muddy though, it wouldn't have been half as good I don't think.

I went to V Festival one year. To see Ben Folds, but he had to switch dates so I missed him anyway. :(

Bloody festivals.

Glastonbury the town is uber-hippy all year round, so you don't even need the festival to get the hippified atmosphere. Just go to the park and set up a tent in April or something, much cheaper.

I nearly died today I did. A big f**koff truck swerved into my lane on the dual carriage way. I saved my very own self by refusing to go to hell before fooking Dave does. I want that oldie meeting ME. I refuse to be down there 100 years tapping my foot & waiting on his ancient arse.

We did that in a random park last year on my birthday! It was a Glastonbury theme and we all went in wellies!

:O I hope it didn't shake you up too much Charley! Are you okay?

:O
Did you ring the 'How's My Driving' number on the back of the truck?

I like wellies.
Even though I never do anything to warrant any.
I want some.

Mine are a size too big, and I need something to justify getting new ones!

Now that really sucks!

Do they count as exotic shoes?
