Am being 'dragged' to see this at Wembley tonight.
Anyone been to see them? Expecting an irresistible combination of ridiculous rock and comedy.

You lucky, lucky bastard.
Is Def Leppard the one with a one armed drummer?

They are, but why do people have to keep banging on about it?

Oh yeah, I think so... they just give him more foot pedals and add in more drum electronics.

I remember him before he started biting his nails.
The new incarnation of Whitesnake rocks - the new lineup is incredibly strong. Doug Aldrich is now Davy's right hand in songwriting department, and the new album is quite good - even though it does try to repeat '1987's formula too much. And believe it or not, Coverdale's voice has lost nothing over the eyars - the way he belts out screams in closing Still of the Night, that's something.
Def Leppard have been 'meh' since 1983... saw them live several years ago. They sounded better and heavier than in studio, but it still was 'meh'. The new album is easily the worst thing I've heard this year.

Have Def Leppard ever been un-'meh'?
They were probably one of the better acts vying to fill a void but can't be compared with Black Sabbath, Deep Purple, Led Zeppelin etc.....oh, not forgetting Golden Earring [just in case Alan C is here].
Listening to Pour Some Sugar On Me. Immense tune.
I'm surprised Def Leppard are still considered so unhip and such an easy target for people? I love most types of music and especially rock. Def Leppard were one of the first bands I started listening to seriously some 22-23 years ago and still are now. An excellent band in the studio and live, they've wrote some classic tunes. It's a shame they're not considered hip enough in most circles to get the credit they truly deserve.
I know someone who went to watch the gig in Manchester last weekend and loved every minute of it.

Nothing compares to those three (I'll add Uriah Heep, instead of Golden Earring). but in that case there's nothing left to listen to, but three or four bands.
I think the first Def Leppard album was a decent slab of NWOBHM, when they actually were heavy, and Pyromania was decent slab of hard rock/pop rock/whatever. While I applaud their decision regarding Rick, they have not created anything worthwhile since then. Hysteria was passable, maybe.
Whitesnake are hardly hip but one of the best heavy blues rock bands ever.
Guns and Roses for me. But not necessarily in that order.
What happened to the Darkness? Their first album is in a sale in Woolworths for £1 at the moment. Wellworth £1 of anyone's money.
Don't let the bells end!
Christmas time, come lick my bell end. Etc.
I think they just kind of ... disappeared.
