Night night/bye bye Page 74

I'm off now! More Northanger Abbey, and then sleeeeeeep! Night night.

And TV, I hope.

Night!

Night night again! I have to "go and highlight the lectures I want to see tomorrow" because my mum keeps saying that the day needs structure...

Fun fun fun! Where are you going/did you go?

Nigh Night.

I'm going toooooo....UCL tomorrow! I'm just going to pretend I'm "structuring", and actually go read!

Loads of people are going there from my school. Tell me if it's any good. Bye!

So that's where you get it from.

Hmm well it was...interesting?

I meant the university. Was the university any good?

I know! :P It was...interesting? I had a go at one of the admissions tutors - but in a nice way, honest.

Well you couldn't have possibly been mean. You're you.

What did you say to him?

Hehe thanks.:$ Well they tutor in the talk said they don't care about your extra-curricular things, they just care about all the books you've read. This is the opposite to what all the other unis want, so I went and asked the other tutor afterwards saying how was it possible to tailor it to both? He just basically said we were all in the same boat, and then couldn't say anything else - but was quite nice about it. Then I carried on and asked how they expect us to say we read broadly without just saying it blatantly - and he couldn't answer that either really. He just said "Very good questions..." as I said thanks and left.

Feisty Robyn!

I think that reading is something that will be exposed in your interview. I have no idea though.

I felt really bad because the man was really nice - I wanted to have a go at the woman, not him! I just said to my friend that I hoped they wouldn't remember me, and he said "Not unless you left them a photo, or your underwear." :S I need new friends.

Yeah they said it'd be in your interview, and that they have a written exam!

How desperate are your friends to get into university?

A written exam? I hadn't thought that we'd be doing exams for universities. That just sounds horrible.
