He's in the four specials in 2009, but I agree the bugger's probably going to ABANDON US, I mean, leave to pursue other career options after that. THE BASTARD. I mean, well... the bastard.
Doctor Who... Page 85

You only love him so much because he's such a marvellous Doctor, though. It's all tied together.
And I reckon he'll stay on for at least some of Moffat's run, otherwise there's no continuity at all.
He's a hard act to follow, can you think of any actors who could live up to the standard? John Simms... but he's the master.
David Jason would be interesting.
Or Robbie Coltrane. Wouldn't be able to do all the running though.
I think Tennant will stay for one series of Moffat's reign then he'll be off.
Martin Freeman would make a good Doctor. Different.
Quote: zooo @ June 23 2008, 1:52 PM BSTThat would be poo.
Like a female James Bond.
Yes, it's like saying lets make the next Miss Marple a man. If you do that then it's not the same character.
Miss Marple can't regenerate when she's killed. I think you could have a female doctor. In the mean time I suppose we'd have to make do with Georgia Moffett as a female timelady. Lovely Georgia Moffett.
Ooo...How good would Bill Nighy be as the doctor?
Hugh Laurie as the master.
Ian Beale.
Barry as his companion. Genius.
YES!
That would be immense on so many levels!
Oh goodness. I just cheacked up on my campaign and it not only has 12 members but one of them is Ryan Sampson!!
Awww that's so cool!
Campaign?
Yes. Isn't it.
