He was hit in a Bristol blackspot, 25 people run down in 3 years! The next road along has had 3 deaths in 2 years.
Now it's got some publicity perhaps the council will finally do something about it
The local news is saying he'll leave hospital in 2-3 days.
Re the 'daylight' photo, he got hit outside the Bristol Hippodrome Theatre, it's very well lit at night.
There might have been more traffic around than usual & people not used to driving through the city centre as most of the Taxi drivers were on strike.

Update to this story:-
Last Saturday night, in the same spot as Kris Marshal's accident, a driver hit 5 pedestrians!!!!! (She tested +ve for alcohol). It won't get any publicity, as she didn't hit anyone famous.
Obviously the driver who hit Kris just wasn't trying hard enough!
