That's about the size of it.

You ARE a massive knob, I'll give you that.

:)

I'll decline that invitation if it's all the same to you.

:)

Fair enough, you're not missing out, truth be told.

I'm intrigued by the relationship twixt you two.

It's the same one that the two blokes from Tears For Fears used to have.

Only one was talented and they both f**king hated each other.

Ask Curt for his opinion.

:)

I have a brother called Curt so I will.

:)

I choose not to believe that!

Edit: Thinking about it, don't bother replying and then adding a little smiley face, there's little point in carrying this on.

What on Earth are you two going on about? I'm completely lost here.

I think it's a lovers tiff.

Tell you what seefacts - how about I do what I like. And you can choose what to believe or not. And meanwhile the real world continues apace.

Thank god for that!

The thread I started got hijacked by a barrage of smugness and attempts at belittling by someone who doesn't like me.

So lets get it back on track with a link so an interesting post here:

Second one down 'End of Part One'.

I hate being put into an awkward position but this thread bubbled into unpleasantness.

Marc P and SeeFacts. You're both respected (and in many eyes) talented but one or two of the retorts surprised me and one (that I'll keep to myself) was maybe unwise and open to the wrong conclusion.

The irritating thing is that we all have a lot to learn from each other, especially from those members who have TV credits - or are close to that. Discussion and difference in writing and approach is okay and sometimes we find that we're talking about the same thing but just using different labels or explanations. I think the question by another member asking about the difference between a callback and running gag (or even if there is one in respective writers' minds) could have been a more useful use of time but instead it became smothered.

Personally, I think it's okay to be questioned about our posts. It's in the explanation that misunderstandings become a place of understanding and learning rather than posturing and losing face. I don't even mind being wrong because I've had enough practice at it and I learn when I'm wrong, I don't when I'm right.

You're never bloody here, but when you ARE here it's to tell us off.

Hmph!!

Ah, I'm always lurking. Something about my complexion that goes together well with shadows.

Being told off by me must surely be less harrowing than a slight gust ruffling your hair?

See, you'll have me apologising next. Laughing out loud
