I guess that is particularly odd. Almost used a smiley, it's quite hard not to.

Have you decided to take pure English at Uni yet?

I keep nearly using them too!

Erm I think that I pretty much have, but history keeps creeping in there a bit still.

You're so bloody weird.

I know, I know...you don't have to remind me, honest!

I'm sure you'll be fine whatever you take. You going to Oxbridge yet? I'm going to look round Oxford on Wednesday, I'll tell you what it's like.

Stop justifying her self-deprecation Aaron.

I get excited about books, if it's of any help.

Only factual books, mind.

I think my friend Kat is going to see Oxford on Tuesday, but she thinks everywhere's amazing-so please do tell me what it's like! I really liked Cambridge when I went, but its the competition element being so high that puts me off.

It's okay-I know I'm at least weird with literature!

Ok then. I'll give you the cynical view.

Then I can weigh them up, or just discount both! *cough* Would've used an emoticon there. *cough*
I just don't think I'd cope! I'm worried enough about King's and UCL, let alone Oxbridge!

See I haven't done enough research. So it's the opposite of your problem.

I've not done that much-I just pretend to know what I'm talking about, really! I only know with King's from summer school last year.

More than I've done. I haven't even ordered a single prospectus yet.

Nottingham sent me a letter today to ask me to go to their open day. They'd changed the format to have my name in and everything, but it just looked a bit desperate with the frequency of that ploy!

How many open days are you going on/have you been on?

Burger King?

I've been to Royal Holloway, and I'm going to UCL and King's College London. I'm trying to go to Queen Mary's for back-up, and I might go to York. Do you know which you'll go to other than Oxford? I kind of wish I was going to see there now because at least I'd be in a position to know.

I'm going to Bristol I think. I'm not sure. But that's it.

I visited Southampton, I have a friend there, which was nice. I probably should've seen more.

I know someone who's going to see Bristol, too. I think he wants to do Drama there, or English and and Drama.

I really just want to go everywhere and see them all, but I think they all blur into one after a while.
