Things that piss you off Page 201

Thing is, if I used loads of emoticons to get it out of my system-then it'd end up being the first post of page 201, just to catch me out.

Edit: SEEEEE!

Who's yours? Mine is F.Scott Fitzgerald. Pleased

I have a particular love for Gabriel Garcia Marquez. He's also not to prolific so I could easily cover all of his work by the time I have to write my personal statement.

Challenge accepted Aaron!

You've mentioned him before, I think? I'm only doing Fitzgerald because I loved "The Great Gatsby."

I did. I just found that his book 'One Hundred Years Of Solitude' has rekindled my love of literature. I haven't felt like this about reading since 3 or 4 years which is a wonderful thing really.

You sound like you're going to stand on a mountain, declaring your love for him. You could do that, but leave a gap between that and the coup so as not to skew your reputation too badly! Oooh! I was going to use a smiley!

Oh shh you!

I'm not one for mountains anyway...

Also a love of literature never hampered a coup. Gabriel D'Annunzio was a poet before he took over the coastal town of Fiume.

I didn't say it was a bad thing-well I didn't mean to, even if it seemed like I did! In any case, I'm one to talk with how much I've ranted about Dracula lately!

Y'know what would've helped you to convey your true meaning?

I think it's nice to get excited about books. A little neeky, but nice all the same.

I do think it's nice to get excited about books-I'm just not used to finding people who get excited about books like I do!

Yay!

I accepted it too, by the way, but quietly.

How often do you ask people if they get excited by literature?

Yep yep yep! :)

I don't ask them...you can just...tell I guess. Like one of my friends at school does get excited about literature, but not in the way like I do when I want to just talk about it, and bounce my ideas off of people. Today it was Van Helsing's eyebrows as a continuation of the bat motif.

I guess that is particularly odd. Almost used a smiley, it's quite hard not to.

Have you decided to take pure English at Uni yet?

You're so bloody weird.
