Russell Tightarse? Davies wrote Doomsday, which is one of my favourite episodes (if not my favourite).

Not forgetting Parting Of The Ways. I love that episode.

Yep, Davies is a very good writer; love both of the episodes mentioned.

Hee!

*goes to look up who the heck Tiberius is*

(RTD doesn't like Trek though, that I do know. However, girl who plays Martha loves it, apparently!)

James T. Kirk? I think?

Ohhh! I actually did know that as well.

Something rude. And gay. Involving bottoms.

Exactly what I was thinking. :D

I found out today that my dad works with her sister!

I'd be surprised if he's gone quite that soon, but no, he won't be there forever. (If only becuase he'll be locked in zooo's bedroom.)

Send that to the writers as a theme for an episode ?
Laughing out loud Pirate Cool

I nearly bought Robot on DVD today. It was only £6, but I put it down. I really shouldn't have.

For all NEW Dr Who fans, Robot was Tom Baker's first episode.

That was the last one I bought, its pretty good. The robots sort of rubbish, but then what d'you expect? :D Trial Of A Timelord seasons out soon; Im looking forward to that; the last two episodes are great. I got it when I was about thirteen and it came out on video in a little tardis shaped tin. Bet thats worth a pound or two now.

I think TOATL was the first Dr Who I ever watched, aged 4. I loved the vervoids, or 'leaf creatures' as I called them.

My mate at primary school had the 'Trial of a Time Lord' box set and he lent it to me. He's dead now.

Like 'The Ring'? Or did you kill him? With your syphilis? 'cos your full to the balls with Syphilis? And you totally gay'd him up? And he caught your syphilis? And Died? Ha; major burn. Im sorry, Im tired.

I don't recall if I ever posted my Doctor Who poem "Celtic Twist" on this forum.

Turn your sound on and try this: http://www.datahighways.co.uk/images/celtictwist1.mp3

sorry about the ssssssibilence Cool

It was a nice episode. That's a scientific fact btw.
It was really weird seeing the doctor completely helpless/vulnerable. I almost wished he had some kind of super power, like super strength or summats, to stop him looking as vulnerable as an ordinary person. I kind of felt like that last week when River knocked him out. After all he's been through, the dangers he's faced and overcome, he goes down and flat out with a little clip to the chops.

Yes. That was great when she knocked him out.
I love that he's essentially very vulnerable.
