We'll just blame it on another forumer. Or appeal to zooo for clemency!

I think the latter might be better, but we'll have to find another annoying boyband to offer up as sacrifice. OH! I was going to listen to your friends' band. *goes looking for where she left the link*

Aha! How about... D-Side? They were pretty awful.
"My sanity is lost...and without it, I am insane."
I actually love this.

Nudge nudge, wink wink, say no more.

Really? They'll be delighted with that!

I'm on my second listen! I was going to comment it, but to do that needs signing up, and signing up needs effort, so you see the predicament.

Last.fm's quite good actually. Useful for finding new music and the like.
They will be positively delighted with two listens though
I was laughing and my mum came in, shook her head, and left the room-despite me having headphones in so she couldn't hear. I though it was really funny, but then again it is quite FotC/Boosh, so I would. Plus, the voice is a bit Simon Armitage, so it would be good anyway.

Aah see we're not sure how serious the lyrics writer was. We sort of nicked his lyrics, y'see. Apparently I was never meant to see the lyrics as I would've "destroyed him."
I think he was being serious, sounds better if it's meant to be silly though.
Does he know you nicked them? Maybe it's one of those things where they can be heard either way, and it does sound really serious when you type them back, but I think it's that deadpan voice over the music in combination with the lyrics that made me giggle. And "destroyed him"!? How so?
Quote: PhQnix @ June 14 2008, 3:33 PM BSTIt's called the Salisbury Convention, technically conventions are meant to be followed without fail.
Ah yes, I recall it; and as I said, it's not a written rule. It's just a precedent, like pretty much everything else. And as is noted in the final paragraph, it's no longer recognised by two of the three main parties. Precedents are always being set, and often broken. I mean, once upon a time, there was a precedent that life meant life!
Quote: PhQnix @ June 14 2008, 3:33 PM BSTThe British parliamentary system is based upon them and if they are challenged inappropriately the British political system would suffer.
Could it get any worse? Be honest.
Quote: PhQnix @ June 14 2008, 3:33 PM BSTAlso if a Nazi-esque party is voted in then they are legally allowed to carry out whatever measures they promised in their manifesto, this is a democracy after all.
Well, it's not really a democracy any more, but assuming it is, that still doesn't address the question of whether it should actually happen.

Taking the mick out of his lyrics I believe. Apparently I'm really mean to him... It was quite the contrary though, I was the only one who understood the overall theme of his lyrics. Oh well.
And the dead-pan voice is because none of them can sing, that's the best they could do
Quote: PhQnix @ June 14 2008, 4:28 PM BSTI don't think an English student would dare mention J.K. Rowling...
Yes, a good author as opposed to a stereotypical, done-to-death circle-jerkatory one. Our education system is f**ked.
Quote: Scatterbrained Floozy @ June 14 2008, 4:28 PM BSTMine looks so much worse now. The links are tenuous to boot!
Let me write it.
I really don't get the whole "you being mean" thing! And don't belittle the deadpan voice-I love the deadpan voice!
