If it was a younger guy then it's less creepy. Still pretty creepy though...

It's *very* creepy-but she was worst out of all of us, and kinda sorta asked for it a bit by not wearing a long coat like the rest of us.

So what you're saying is, "It's ok, she's a bit slutty anyway?" :P

It's an odd thing - and you can draw your own conclusions from this - but in my part of the North-East the women think you should buy them drinks, meals, gifts, etc and they never have to return the favour. If you suggest it might be their turn the usual response is "be a man and do your job"

I think you're seeing the wrong women.

You don't get that wide of a choice - that's my point. They expect people to "buy" them but they psychologically wrap it up with the thought of being treated like a lady! I have only been back here for 2 years after living in London for 20 years so the contrast, for me, is even starker.

I love to treat people and be generous but resent it when it is expected.

No...

*whispers* Maybe.

I hope you are watching the football this time Elliot

Aah well, the process of social change is slow.

I love that. I love that even on a forum, with people you've never met you're still too nice to be mean. That's so sweet :D

Yep 1-0! Should be good.

Thanks. :$

Puts me as a disadvantage somewhat in real life though!

How can being nice put you at a disadvantage?

Because other people know I'm too nice to tell them where to get off if they're mean/ask me to do some menial task.

:(

Better than people thinking you're mean though!

I've been told I'm mean before, actually! :$

How?! There's no way that's possibly founded in truth!

Probably not, but it managed to upset me as was probably its intention!

:( People are mean.

*nods* I know! :(

It's getting a bit overcast now...
