What are you watching on TV? Page 167

Yes, Robyn and I have been watching. That did amuse me greatly as well. :D

Together? In the same room? :O

(By the way Gavin and Roscoff, I only laughed coz I found it deeply offensive :P)

Together? In the same room? :O

Yes. We are secret lovers.

(No, I wouldn't wish to inflict that kind of pain on anyone. Let alone someone of such superior intellect.)

(She'll probably cure cancer one day.)

With a History and English duel honours?
Bloody hell she is smart!

Anyway Aaron, it's good to see you survived 'going out'. Was it an ordeal? Are you still shaking?

A supposedly intellectual type such as yourself should have been watching Question Time and This Week, PhQnix!

Avoiding politics at the moment. It's to confusing, I hate the Tories but I'm really impressed with David Davis. That's a total mindf**k, like if you suddenly liked a socialist.

Yes, and just about calmed now.

I hate the Tories

Why, praytell?

Why, praytell?

A genetic hatred of the party that promotes self-interest above collective good. Privatisation above nationalisation. Their core ideals are just morally incompatible with mine. However the cannier person would notice that my gripes with the Tories also apply to New Labour as well.

Of course there are things that the Tories promote that are laudable. Personal responsibility, the unity of the family - these ideals are desirable to an extent. Underneath it all I respond to the core ideals which the Labour Party was founded upon - creating an equal society of opportunities.

Really there is no party that I respond to fully. They're all corrupt, self-serving, slimy political machines. I can appreciate individual people, I'm beginning to appreciate David Davis.

The man's a peanut brain and this stunt has backfired. When the Tories get back into power he won't be in the cabinet. At the moment I reckon David Cameron would like to stab him.

That's Cameron's problem. The idea of someone prepared to put the well-being of the nation above his party and risk his political career for something he believes him is much nicer than someone who would stay silent for the benefit of the party.

Do you really think that's what he's doing? I think you're hopelessly naive if that's the case. Or maybe I'm hopelessly cynical.

I can't really see what else he's doing. This isn't beneficial to him or his party. He jut wants to make a point.

What a time to make a point though. >_<

:O Is it broked?

Nope-I've been scaring myself by reading again!
