It'll be kicked out by the House of Lords anyway. And even if they get it through, which they probably won't because Gordon brown's ability to get things done diminishes by the day, the Tories will kick it out when they come back into power in 2010.

If it gets even that far. Wouldn't be surprised if someone takes it to the European courts.

And lovely to hear someone else saying that the Tories will be back in 2010! :)

Yeah, you'd "vote" for them good and proper.

Because like the ridiculous act on hunting, they'll bypass the Lords if need be, wasting even more thousands of pounds of taxpayers' cash. The Labour Party have made a mockery of the whole Parliamentary system, from top to bottom, with their draconian and corrupt, over-legislating, control-freak, moral-free politics.

And this from somebody who probably thinks Margaret Thatcher was a good Prime Minister.

Although, that would be a wasted vote, as only crosses are acceptable on ballot forms.

I'm sure he is a skilled swordsman. :D

It was right to ban hunting. If only to annoy Ottis Ferry.

There was nothing right about banning hunting (which they didn't, by the way, they only restricted hunting with hounds).

If they wanted to do anything about hunting, then the time would have been much better spent on those viles traps which are used.

Although David Cameron is indistinguishable from Tony Blair and the Tories are now indistguishable from New Labour.

On a different level, my friend. On a different level. :)

The Tories WILL be back in 2010.

But if you think they'll repeal this legislation in full, you're barmy. They may scale it back a few days, but that's about it.

There are still fundamental differences there; they're just not being highlighted by the current wave of policies and whatnot. Come the election, there'll be a real, clear choice, and the only sane one will be to vote for the Conservative Party. :D

Indeed, it is highly unlikely, if only due to the complex process of further legislation and counter-bills which are needed to repeal previous Acts.

The wheels will come off the Cameron bandwagon far, far quicker than they came off the Blair Bandwagon. Cameron's essentially a lightweight.

Bollocks. A government with a big enough majority and the required will can repeal any legislation.

With apologies for swears.

I disagree greatly. Wait and see. :)

I saw him box. Punches just used to slide off his hair.

Equal bollocks. It's far more complex than you seem to be implying.

Anyway, I'm off out again. Bye!

You're just running away because I'm right.

And underneath I think he's fairly unpleasant. I think he once mocked Gordon Brown's communication skills and called him autistic. Fair enough, criticise somebody for not being able to communicate their ideas clearly, but DO NOT use a condition like autism as a term of abuse. It's nasty, shabby, small minded and lacks class. And if you want to be the british Prime Minister, you should be above that sort of thing.

They had every right to pass the Lords with the Hunting Bill. The Lords isn't allowed to reject bills drawn up from manifesto promises. The Ban on Hunting was a manifesto promise. The 42 Day Terror Bill is not linked to any manifesto promise so the Lords should have a better footing to reject it.
