Is it just me, or is David Davis a bit of a massive knob? Resigning so they can hold an expensive by-election just to re-elect him? Not only that, but the Tories were doing pretty well in the polls and he's single-handedly managed to make them look like tits and embarass David Cameron.

That's just you. I was actually impressed with his decision. The reality is that the by-election won't prove anything, but the insidious legislation currently being proposed needs to be fought in every way possible.

and you really think the by-election will be a serious platform for discussion? Or just descend into farce as the Liberals and Labour refuse to field candidates, leaving DD to have a debate with the BNP and the National Glamour Model Party.

The BNP are refusing to field a candidate. Hopefully Labour will do the honourable thing and field someone. It's still a better action than everyone else who lost the vote and decided the fight ended there. This legislation shouldn't be passed, the Labour party passed it on the back of votes the 'bought' from the DUP. Sweeping and ridiculous changes to British law shouldn't be made like that.

Is there a National Glamour Model Party? If there is I vote for them. Now, on with Question Time.

I made them up in the hope that they're might be some BSG members who are glamour models and they'll be inspired to start a movement. As for legislation, it'll be kicked out by the House of Lords anyway, so why the fuss?

I'm some kind of model... a model of a ten tonne truck.

You could make it as a glamour model, Ellie, so if you ever need help with that portfolio let me know? ;)

I don't think the 42 Day limit is nearly long enough. I'd have an indefinite limit.

Reality always gets there first.

Clicky-linky-click click.

Aaron did you read every post that was put up in your absence, including my various interlinking and cyclical conversations with Robyn?

Yep, I always do.

Nope, just you. Yes it'll cost, but every opportunity we have to protest against this vile, draconian legislation which is currently trying to be forced through the Houses, should be taken.

I believe that the Lib Dems had agreed with David Davis prior to his announcement that they would not field a candidate. If Labour refuse to put someone forward, then that highlights how vile, pathetic and spineless they are, and how they know that what they're doing is wrong.

It'll be kicked out by the House of Lords anyway. And even if they get it through, which they probably won't because Gordon brown's ability to get things done diminishes by the day, the Tories will kick it out when they come back into power in 2010.

Yeah, you'd "vote" for them good and proper.

Because like the ridiculous act on hunting, they'll bypass the Lords if need be, wasting even more thousands of pounds of taxpayers' cash. The Labour Party have made a mockery of the whole Parliamentary system, from top to bottom, with their draconian and corrupt, over-legislating, control-freak, moral-free politics.

Yeah, he'd tick their boxes. Huh, uhuh.

Although, that would be a wasted vote, as only crosses are acceptable on ballot forms.

It was right to ban hunting. If only to annoy Ottis Ferry.
