Quote: PhQnix @ June 12 2008, 3:38 PM BSTAsk if he goes to Wilsons. If he does then he's the right Matt. He's a nice guy, he'd probably react just as well if you shouted his name out
I think I'd just scare him, and I'd definitely confuse my dad who insists on coming!
Good luck to you then. If you have any chance at all then you should always apply. The future of Britain is decided in those hallowed halls, it's a great place to act as a stepping stone.
I'm trying not to laugh. History Boys flashbacks, which I know you hate, and which I hate for meaning inappropriate outburts. I have a chance apparently, and my GCSEs say I do-but I don't think I'm good enough to cope with the competition.

So did my Geography teacher last year.

Your Dad's going with you? I don't mean to offend but: Why?
Because my dad says I'll get lost trying to find Eggham-and be laughing too much to ask the way.

That sounds like a much better day out to be honest.
I think so too. I might pretend I want to study something really random, or act completely my opposite to pass the time. That, or pass it trying to find Matt.

Nothing. I went to play in a brass band contest and got very drunk. Which was most excellent.
Sounds like fun actually! Which instrument?

It is fun 'cos you keep running into peeps you 'aint seen in ages and you go for a beer and somewhere in between you have to actually go play something which is a pain and in this genre a cornet though I prefer the trumpet or even better flugel horn. I also like writing sentences with little punctuation it's my other hobby
I couldn't have read that sentence out loud without turning blue, I don't think.
Robyn! You have to go to Oxford or Cambridge!!
If I could redo my life, that's what I'd wanna do.
I'm not good enough though, Laura!
But are you applying just in case you get the right results?
Maybe. Thing is, because their deadline is so early, other unis kind of know you're an Oxbridge hopeful due to when they get your form-and might discriminate.
