Mark and I have always said that we fully intend to hold meetups across the country, but that the first will take place in London. Primarily because we both live in/around London, but also because the national transport infrastructure radiates to and from it.
And, as you say, it has the standup venues, the TV studios, the theatres...
I suggested a meet in London for the BSG'ers but Aaron had said the idea was in the pipeline for the new site launch. And then this happened.

I used to always write 'Berks' rather than 'Berkshire'. Now firmly the latter.
