I always look like i am dead in mine. Why does everyones photo look like shit.
My lips look huge. It is also incredibly difficult to stand on your head in those booths.
Anyhoo, has anyone ever seen a nice passport photo?

Nope! I think it's impossible for those machines to produce nice photos-and then they're even worse when processed and put on a passport or Oyster card.
On my old passport I had a photo of me when I was about 9 or 10, and I looked exactly like Nicholos Hoult in About A Boy. I thought it was just embarassing, but girls actually found it quite cute.

Yea! I would never flash mine off. It is embarrasing enough giving it over to passport control. They look at it, then me, then it, then frown, then stare at it, then goggle at me, then get a co worker to do the same. The plane gets held up, passengers want to kill me & I go beetroot. (Which is incredibly rare for me)

I never showed it willingly really, it was just when me and some friends went out and we had our passports we'd show them to eachother and have a "who's got the most embarassing passport photo competition".
Okay we have done that with our ID badges. My one for my collegiate school usually scores quite highly on the awful scale.
I am pleased to say that I now look like an old time bank robber in my passport photo. At last.

My brother sent off for a new one, and because he has long hair they automatically wrote his gender as female.
