To be fair, he's supposed to have met her at a nightclub or something of a similarly degraded ilk, which she had snuck into with a fake ID or something. But could he not tell by looking at her?
My daughters 14. Her friends are 14. At best they look 16. You decide.
He's in his late thirties, I should think. At that age you'd definitely know a 14 yr old, no matter how much makeup she's wearing.
16 or 17 maybe, but 14 is still a kid.
It should be illegal to smoke out of your car window imho, and to be strimming in your garden for four hours like the neighbours today! -_-

They do tend to still look 14, but I have seen some look a lot older. It's quite scary, because even though it was only 2 years ago for me I'm sure I was never like that. Though I'm not exactly the best representation of my generation.
