IQ - The Seventh House

Wow... IQ eh?

I was 'into' them in a big way back in the late 80s. 'Nomzamo' and 'Are You Sitting Comfortably?' were favourites. We even nearly supported them ( I was lead singer and bassist in a rock trio) when they 'almost' played Bedford. Don't know what happened there or why they didn't come... mind you I don't blame them... crap town!

Anyway, I long ago lost the albums... I wonder if those two are still available?

IQ have their own label now and all the albums are available direct from them at

Actually seeing Vambo there reminded me.

"There's no lights on the Christmas tree mama, they're burning Big Louie tonight" - Sensational Alex Harvey band.

Don't go all Bittas Empire on me but i've got three. CANDI STATON "you got the love... DR DRE "Still Dre" and CAM'RON "Oh Yeah"

Maybe because of all those references to the 70's but it has to be 'Man on the Moon' by REM

I prefer "Losing my Religion" but they are a very good band.

You cant beat Paul Weller anything he does is pure class. Well almost he did once read Paris Match

or I could go on.

Are you running for a seat as a Tory?

Gay vote, black vote and tory vote.

DR DRE "Still Dre"

"Some of that real sticky-icky-icky ooh whee."

I like Dre and Snoop, but really not keen on all this HIP POP. I like my hip-hop from the late 80's - early 90's.

I keep it real.

Cool

Pirate - rRRrr mo'fo.

My favourite song?……The birdie song and that one by the mad frog or anything from the Nolan sisters didn’t the teletubbies do a song, that was good too.

Barry, you forgot Mr Blobby

Mr. Blobby was - and is - genius.

In fact, I bought some Blobby stuff on eBay last week. (Oh dear.)
