Janey: Yes, you did.
Susan: OOOOHHHHH! It's...It's lovely! Is it a caterpillar?
Janey: Mum! It's a scorpion!
Susan: A scorpion! It's a sweet little scorpion. Look Ben, it's smiling!
Janey: I can't believe you!
I'm pretty sure that Susan knew what it was, but was trying to worry Janey into thinking it looked pathetic and stupid.
