Sid James Page 2

Indeed he did. His wife, and Babs, have both spoken about it in the past.

As a big fan of the Carry-On films and Bless this house I decided to read Sid's biography earlier last year. It is well worth a read - you may be able to get it from your library.

Do you work for the library?

I misinterperated it. She said he had a great face, she doesn't actually fancy him. But something that is scary is that my Aunt fancies Minty from Eastenders

I think he had a great face too! It oozed character & that laugh! I loved watching him in the Carry On`s & Bless this House.

And today is his birthday! :)

Happy birthday Sid. How old would he have been?

94

Happy 94th to Sid. One of the greats, and apparently a great man to work with. His work with Hancock and the Carry Ons is peerless.

Like Brighton?

Although that's only half pierless because only one of the two burnt down.

LOL

1,000 posts Dave! You must be so proud! :D

There's nowt wrong with our Sid. Cool

Apart from the Carry Ons he did the business in a lot of British movies.

Not bad for a one-time hairdresser!

Sid James is one of the greatest actors to ever be on British TV and Film!

Without him the saucy Carrys On wouldn't have been as funny!

Show like Bless This House, Two In Clover and George & The Dragon are just three of the TV sitcoms he was the star in and they are all fantastically funny!

If you are a Sid James fan then I suggest you get them on DVD if you haven't already done so!

;)
