The all new and improved Aaron:
Got to go with The Thing, and, in similar vein, Invasion of the Bodysnatchers.
P.S. Not sure which is more intimidating when you click on the page - the screenfilling boobies or Aaron's school photo.
Worryingly, there are plans to renmake The Thing again, which will undoubtedly just be a soulless CGI fest.
Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!
Quote: Aaron @ May 28 2008, 11:13 AM BSTIt was cancelled. I would guess that they've broadcast all that was made.
Darn, I was enjoying that.
I don't think the Writers Strike helped any.

Due to a strike by the Writers Guild of America, production of the series was halted in mid-November 2007,[24] and the regular actors have been suspended on half-pay for a period of five weeks.[25] The series has since aired all of the episodes that were completed before production halted.[26] Some sites rumored NBC had canceled the show but an NBC Universal Media Studios spokesperson told the press that the show has not been cancelled and that production will continue when the WGA strike ends.[27] An Associated Press story on Feb. 12 classified Bionic Woman as being "on the bubble" and as such despite the resolution of the strike predicted that the remaining episodes likely won't air until the fall of 2008, "if ever".[28] According to a report on NBC's Feb. 13, 2008 announcement regarding initial series renewals, no announcement was made regarding whether Bionic Woman would return in the fall, but the report indicated that despite the earlier statement by NBC-Universal, production of the show's first season is considered to be concluded

I'm glad you cleared that up for me.
Ah, intriguing! Doesn't bode well for the show that they've not made anymore though, or at least haven't committed to broadcasting. All of the new programmes I'd been watching were concluded (although with shorter than originally planned seasons) nicely, just a couple of weeks ago, after the strike finished.
The Writers Strike in the eighties did kill off Moonlighting, though. Which was a great shame. Also a shame that it hasn't had a proper DVD release yet.
Some walk by night...
Definitely Carpenter's The Thing. Also the Richard Pryor version of Brewster's Millions (but possibly only because that was the version I saw first).
Brewster's Millions is classic, didn't though it was a remake though.

Remake of an old Fatty Arbuckle film. I think it's based on a book, so I don't know if that counts as a remake or - like Tim Burton's shit version of Planet of the Apes - a 're-imagining'.
