What word do you hate the most?

What word do you hate, and would like to never hear again.

Chillax, it's an admission to being a wanker.
Chillimundo, it became cliched and unfunny, before you finish typing it

hate :D

You hate hate, you hippy!

Oh my god, I might not even be able to type this.

*steels self*

When people say 'two pair of socks'
or 'I'm looking for a black trouser'.

Where's the last s?

I can't STAND it!!!

I feel sick having written it.

Now go forth and punish them, punish them, and they're progeny.

Licken'

as in a bastardization of licking to sell cheap, nasty, fried chicken.

I can't recall ever having heard those terms, but I'm sure I'd be just as outraged as you are. I had to leave a café yesterday because their menus proclaimed that they had "cake's" and "sandwich's" and such.

I hate it when people bastardise perfectly normal words with crazy 'z's all over the shop. Unimpressed

It's a world of frustration and outrage at the ineptitude of others.

What would have happened if you had sat down and eaten your meal but then politely mentioned to them on the way out that they had some spelling errors on their menu? :D

Spelling is an evolutionary process, I'm quite happy to be a few years of my time. The time of the z is coming, and right zoon.

As that didn't happen, I really can't answer!

I do like a z.
But only in its proper place.

But you could have made it happen and instead of a negative situation where you got no meal and had to choose another place, you could have helped the shop understand that bad syntax annoys some people ... however I don't think you hate the bad spelling of others, you thrive on it :P

No, but I'm far too English to want to get into a position of direct confrontation.
