Haha! We used to do it all the time, throwing the shoes into trees so that the guy turned up to French in his socks. Was a different guy this time though, so couldn't do the trick of putting his shoes on over ours because they were so big!

Which sixth form did you go to? We all turn up looking like we've gone through a hedge backwards! Some of the girls probably have, but y'know.

LOOOL. Bitchy! I like it! :D

In answer, the one of my school. We had to be all smart and suited and everything. The stuff zooo's dreams are made of really; a hundred or so 18 and 19-year old boys, looking smart and sophisticated (well...), yet somewhat vulnerable and eager (!) to learn. ;)

That's the one bitchy thing I'll say for this month, then. Though I did almost say quite a bad thing today.

They still have to wear uniform at the boys' school opposite where I do Spanish, even though they're in sixth form. I don't think it's unusual for schools to have dress codes in sixth form, actually, I just don't tend to think of it seeing as neither of my schools have one.

Delish.

(we need a licking the lips / drooling smiley!)

I just like having a DVD/CD to hold and own.

Like, I certainly wouldn't want to have all my books on my PC or something, with nothing to pick up and look at.

(Books moreso than DVDs/CDs though. I don't buy many CDs anymore at all.)

OOhhhh, go on, what was it?

"What's this foreign twat doing getting in my way on the Central Line?"

"Look at that stupid tall black dude with the straw top hat, singing in French!"

"Stupid f**king whore, I bet she had 3 of those kids by her 18th birthday."

Something like that?

I always buy books-I'd hate to have them all on the computer or something, it's just not the same.

Haha no, worse in that it was about someone there and I felt really bad when I mentioned having to hold back from saying it.

Tee hee, noted. :)

Is that your mothering nature creeping through?

No, certainly agreed there. I find it so hard to read things on the screen!

I hate the idea of books on like handheld screens, too.

Me too!
It's sacrilege!

I almost always buy books (some computing books are just ludicrously overpriced beyond my affordability), but never at full price. I've find numerous sources for cheap stuff, some on and some offline. Have found some really excellent stuff extremely cheaply. :)

Aww c'mon, they must have deserved it to raise even your anger?

I think I've only ever used the internet to find quotes in searchable versions of the books, but even then it's not the same as finding it in print.

Yeah, those are weird!

But SO much easier and quicker to copy and paste than type up!

It wasn't anger...it was just an obvious, bitchy joke, provoked by the company making similar ones. :$
Like the shoe stealing! Not done in outrage, done because they tried to steal mine on the tube!

And good for memorising set text key quotes.

Not gonna tell then?

Erm my friend was looking for a book to talk be able to his girlfriend's parents, because they speak Turkish, and he said he just wanted something cheap and Turkish. Joke finds itself now I'm sure...?
