I do think it is taking being kind to animals to an extreme though 
I just had pancakes and they were goood! Mine always come out too burnt or too sloppy, but these were picture perfect.

I like a pancake, but I always find the first one I do is rubbish. After that I get the rub of the green and produce decent ones.
