Me too, got rid of a garbage bag full tonight. It was painful but I finally got rid of some of my favorite shirts that were hanging on by a thread. Such as my "I like Melons" tshirt of a monkey holding two melons. 
I tell you what. Extreme sock draw tidying. It's the future. I can see it in 2012.
