Peep Show - Series 5 Page 19

Yes soccer was first used in England to describe football but we take the piss out of them for using it now. It feels so good to be superior! :D

America is the only country that went from barbarism to decadence without civilization in between.

And still lacking.

Before we break the alliance I'm gonna get this back on track.

I'm really enjoying this series but I think it's the first one to be missing a strong running storyline. The only thing I can see is Mark's quest for "The one"

Next series I'd like to see Sophie announce she is pregnent and have a Who's the Daddy storyline between Mark and Geoff. In the last episode of that series it would be revealed to be either Geoff or someone else (Johnson?) because I would hate Mark to become a father.

Interesting or Sophie could get completely smashed, turn up at their flat and sleep on the sofa. Next morning Mark finds her in bed with Jez and series concludes with her announcing pregnancy - Mark or Jez?! oooo err

Nice, I wouldn't object to Jeremy becoming a Dad it might be an intresting direction to take him.

A "who's the dad" scenario sounds awful.

I'd rather a storyline where Jez manages to get a decent job or something, and although he is still a clown, he manages to do really well and it annoys the hell out of Mark.

I don't want a running storyline, thanks. Dad's Arny never had one (unless you count the war).

Well there was LCpl. Jones falling for, and eventually marrying in the final episode, Mrs Fox. But that was so stretched out it probably doesn't count.

It's funny your all talking about pregnancy cus I was thinking of that earlier... what would be really funny is if natalie came back and said she was pregnant. And mark would have to father a child from being raped by a quasi-lesbian. Hahhaa...

Either way i'd like to see season 6 hopefully somehow start with marks baby being born... that's a whole season worth of hilarity right there. what a bad father he would be.

Mark losing his job, just as Jeremy gets one and the roles are reversed with Mark having to (begrudgingly) living off Jeremy's new success. Now, *that* would be a good storyline. If he lost his job cos of something stupid he did, and the bad reference stopped him getting another, would allow the story to be strung out further.

We actually need a Peep Show: Plots thread, I think...

With reference to the last episode, I thought they made Jeremy far too obnoxious in it. He's always stayed just the right side of cretinous, and usually his most odious comments were internal, but in this episode he stepped over. That said, I loved Mark's line "I would quite literally stab a baby to do it."

I would stab the parents first , if a child misbehaves , stab the parents! seems logical to me, but then , I dont have children , or want any , or , to be honest , want anyone else to have any , I f**king hate children with a passion , mind you , I f**king hate their parents with equal passion , decisions , decisions......

Wow! You're like "Chipolata Max"...
