Agreed! BBC3 holds a -few- gems -very- occasionally.

That's very close to my own list for the problem with Canadian programs.

It never seems to know what it wants to be - in the past it was called BBC Choice and then rebranded but it's output seems so disjointed that I have no clue who it is trying to aim it's programmes at!?

It's trying to aim itself at "The yoof!" hence Lily Allen and the like.

Now it is - give it a few months and we'll see. BBC Chameleon will be it's new brand name

We have one of those. CBC Cross Country Canada just changed last month to CBC BOLD. So they went from little programs about people in small town Canada to 'artistic', 'edgy' programing which is means replace CBC's American programing with British programing like the Tudors and stuff.

I'd love to get into the minds of programme planners - I'm sure there is room for a whole tennis court in most of them :D
