I may have to watch the whole lot in the next few days.
I'm trying to save them up 'cos there's no more new ones for a good few months at least (), but will definitely have to watch a few tonight.
I just watched the film Mean Girls last night, that Tina Fey wrote. Its got Lindsey Lohan in it but it wasnt half bad.
Tina Fey wrote it?!

Yep, shes in it a bit as a teacher as well. Its produced by Lorne Michaels, who also produces 30 Rock and Saturday Night Live, which Fey used to be in. Its not a great film, but a notch up on those general American teen high scool movies.
I liked Johnny Briggs and Moondial.
I remember from my early youth (probably 85-87) one kids tv show on BBC. It involved some shop and I think there was a portal out the back of it. I think there was an ancient Egypt theme to it as well, but that's all I remember.

Might have to watch it again then. I *think* I may have actually seen it in the cinema, probably some kind of kids' club.

I remember that too, or I remember the opening credits; anyone know what it was called??
It was called "My disturbing week staying with 'Uncle' Ronald in Normandy".

Mr Benn
Kinvig!
Willo The Wisp
I forgot Star Cops, I wrote an unsuccesful pilot about this show.
It's ace.
I think The Tripods is one of the greatest shows of all time, and I'd love to see a remake. However, I think the spirit of these shows lives on in the Battlestar Galactica, Jericho and Lost. Give me those over Doctor Who any day. Plus, it might have already been mentioned, but The X-Files owes a huge debt of gratitude to the mighty Kolchak: The Night Stalker.
