I rarely watched the X Files but I thought that was all about UFO's etc?

I think he (Moulder) started the X-Files because of his fascination with UFOs, but then it became a place for the FBI to dump all it's "other" cases.

I loved the X-Files when it first started, but never watched it by the end. New film out this year, which feels odd; I think theyre hoping to launch it now as a Star Trek style film franchise.

I like all of the X Files. It went up and down but I never got bored of it.

Yeah, although the last few series went off a bit, can't really remember much about them?

It all blurs into one for me.
I heart Mulder and Scully though. Part of my childhood! And teenagerhood. When did they stop making it?

When it became less popular. :P

I vaguely remember the last episode, well something to do with The Smoking Man in the cave. Didn't he become Cancer man? lol.

I think it was about '97 or '98?

EDIT: 2002 apparently :O

It can't be!

Hehe, I know what I'm doing for the rest of the day.

Oooo X-COPS, I remember loving this episode when it was first shown. X-Files meets COPS if you couldn't figure it out.

After mentioning Moondial earlier, I just had a look at the first few minutes on Youtube:

That is some eery, unsettling shit right there! That was a kids show? Mummy!

Ohmygod, on that page, a link to Jonny Briggs.
Awwwesome show. :)

I'm assuming that The X-Files was an hour-long?

Wouldnt say no, talk to my people . . . . I have no people. PM me??

From the nineties, not eighties, but does anyone remember Neverwhere, written by Neil Gaiman? A right cheap looking show, but fantastic.

I never saw it but if it was written by Gaiman I expect it was very good!

Oh, it was brilliant. Like I say, it looked very, very cheap, but it was great. Only one series though.
