Exams.... Page 17

Government and Politics and Philosophy tomorrow, I'm going to drop one of them so it's not all bad.

English is a little over the top, we learn everything to a ridiculous depth. I find it hard to imagine that authors write to such a level.

They don't. I did A'level and beyond and believe me half the Shalespeare imagery stuff is just nonsense. But I would advise you to play the game. I said as much in a critique once and got blown out of the water like a duck on Semtex.

Shiiiit, they really should put a limit on the amount of hours you have exams for in a day, that's mental.

There is a limit, it's six :(

One of my friends had seven exams on one day - he has to spend the evening in seclusion as one of his exams was moved. Which puts my 'problems' into perspective really.

Playing the game is all school seems to be about, which is a little boring and pointless. But these things must be done.

Yeah people from our school have had to spend the evening at a teacher's house before because of their exams being moved. The government are going to try and get exam boards to communicate and stop there being more than one exam per day.

It's all about playing the game, definitely, but it's a pretty pointless game at the end of it. The only thing it proves is that you can actually play it.

My friend lucked out in a sense, his parents are teachers so he just has to go home.

I think life is the same though, a series of games which we play to prove that we can play them. Of course in the real world you get paid for playing so it's a little better.

Personally, I would rather fail.

You sure you didn't have to do Cat on a Hot Tin Roof!?

Why?

Unless it was a fit teacher's house.

If I was made to go to my old French teacher's house before an exam I'd be nursing a semi all evening.

I just did a CPR/First Aid exam......sort of useless skill when it comes to this forum.

I was thinking the same thing but thought it would be too crass to post.

That's twice now you've articulated the thoughts of my sub-conscious.

That's twice now you've articulated the thoughts of my erotically charged sub-conscious now.

Haha, it seems we both have equally warped minds!

Why?

It's one of the major themes patterned, life as a game.

Haha never to crass here!

Your so wrong! I've done that exam to. Cyberspace First Aiders. We could dress up in uniforms and Graham Bandage people up and hold hands and skip down the street and it'll be fun fun fun!
