Well I once got freaked out by an episode of Buffy and I was about 25 at the time, so I couldn't possible comment 
"Blink" made me scared of the statue at the bottom of my garden 
Ah after seeing "Blink" I refused to let my parents buy minature gargoyles for the house, so I know the feeling!

RTD is a brilliant writer (Casanova and Queer As Folk!), just maybe not perfect for being in charge of Dr Who. Although he has written some good ones, I'm sure Moffat will be even better.
Yeah, I just hope that Tennant doesn't decide that it's a good time to piss off too.

I bet Tennant does go, either during next years specials or sometime early on in Moffats first series.
Davies has done a superb job, and I dont think anyone knows how much writing he does on the series as a whole; hes involved not just with the ones his name is on, but on all the scripts. He speaks with the writers and re-writes drafts, all have his input. Except, i think Im right in saying, Moffats, who I read Davies saying he leaves alone to do completely his own thing.
