Also, new show runner-does anyone sniff a new Doctor in the not too distant future?

New show runner? New Doctor? What do you mean?

But for zooo's sake, I hope not.

It's only my interpretation. I'm not actually Steven Moffat.

Are you not? Damn.

Yeah, a woman. Won't be long now *taps nose*.

Unless it turns out to be Gethin?

Just turn it up a notch and stop aiming it at 5 year olds.

I agree with you that just lately they seem to be aiming the shows towards the younger end of the family. Tis a shame. Last week's was ok in a jovial, self-mocking kind of way, but if every episode was like that I don't think I would watch tbh. We need more darkness!

Nah, the Great One has largely gone off him I think. Of course, I doubt she'd complain were he to be Tennant's successor, but she still wouldn't be happy as such.

I think she'd come around to the idea :)

On a serious note though, I wonder why noone seems to stick the role for very long? Must be stressful to shoot or something, I dunno?

Tennants in next year too, which will have been four years of Who, which is enough surely? Youve got to move on and take on other challenges; plus its good for the show.

Is RTD stepping down good or bad? I'm not really sure myself. I don't know anyhing about Moffat so I can't judge.
Errr

Never. Never, ever, ever. Not going to happen; anyone who made it happen would be a fool. The Doctor is a man, theres never been any indication that Tuime Lords could change sex.

No one wants to be stereotyped into one role.

Empty child, Blink, Girl In The Fireplace . . . Nuff said.

Nuff said indeed, all of these eps were brilliant.

I agree. RTD is a good writer, but judging by what i've read, Moffat is better.

True, but then so many other shows keep one main character and noone really worries about that.

Not a big Dr Who fan then??

No. Never watched it. Doesn't appeal to me.

Fair dos. Or, ha ha, fair Whos!
