A choclate teapot then .... a show about nothing much can be great with a good script but the most interesting premise is pointless if its all it has. You dont need wacky situations to be funny, you need to be funny.

I agree entirely. I just think there is great comic mileage in people allowing themselves to test drugs for money.

Is that it for pilots now? Just those three? Or are there more to come?

Nope, more to come. Next week is a sketch show called Barely Legal, and after that is Torn Up Tales. Apparently.

COMEDY: Barely Legal
On: BBC Three
Date: Monday 26th May 2008
Time: 23:00 to 23:30

Sketch show pilot in which hot new comic performers Ellie Bird, Joe Da Costa, David Hayler, Sophie McCabe, Dominique Moore and Ekow Quartey embrace a shedload of ridiculous scenarios. Includes the man with the Top 5 for everything, the world's first game of strip hangman and the reason not to jump for joy when your girlfriend wants to watch a porn film.

Try telling that to Northwick Park...

Barely Legal?

Has JK done the theme tune to that?

But with less goats.

Isn't Barely Legal the sketch show with performers as young as 12 or something? I remember reading something about it yonks ago.

I think they're called something else...

Aren't they?

They don't do sex or owt.

Just comedy sketches! They're quite funny.

A-ha, found it! Posted on the actual site: https://www.comedy.co.uk/news/news.php?story=000395

Horay for google. Once again I can't wait for Alice Lowe's sketch show.

Wow, they are called Barely Legal.

And look at how much Delta Forever changed!

I love Alice Lowe too.

looks like delta forever's writers had to find some room round the table! pretty sure it listed 4 or 5 in the crdits last night?

It did including the director and I guess the two original writers credited in the first news release. It obviously changed a lot on the way to getting broadcast.

I really, really liked this. laughed out loud several times, plenty of storylines developing. great acting. love to see more. nice to see something so stylistic too.
