In the scheme of things my week aint that bad - it's just stuff to deal with. Doesn't involve illness and relationship issues or anything like that.
My week is stressful but nothing that won't be forgotten in a few days.
Actually, there was another thing this last week. I had to admit to my parents that we'd sold up to move into rented last December as they still didn't know. We only had to come clean because we've forced to move because the present owner has decided to sell up.

It's all about perspective really. There is an awful lot of shit that could rain upon us in this big bad world and most of us spend our time dodging it. If your parents are decent people they won't be mad for long.

To be honest they were fine but I was a little embarrassed as a nearly 40 year old to admit that I'd screwed up.

Most sensible parents know that their kids are going to make mistakes. I'm 50 and I still kick myself at things I do now - I should know better but it seems I don't. All I will say is I bet you don't make the same mistake again!
