Anybody remember this sixties American sitcom. I've ordered all 60 episodes from ebay for a fiver. It looks good.
Car 54 Where Are You?
The series was way before my time, but I do remember the film, which came out in the '90s, with a new cast. It got really bad reviews, and I've even seen it in a list of worst films ever made, but I thought it was okay. I think Rosie O'Donnell was in it, oh, and the old guy who played the Grandpa, on The Munsters.

Which is kinda ironic seeing as the original Car 54 starred Fred Gwynne who played the original Herman Munster
Came today. Complete sixty episodes it says for a fiver. I put it on and all together there are eight episodes.
Yikes. I had something similar happen to me, but far more expensive. What a wanker!

Well you can leave negative feedback with impunity now coz he can't reciprocate !
I've sent the seller an email and will give him 24 hours to explain himself. It could just be a genuine mistake. However if he doesn't respond to my email, negatuve feedback will be left. It isn't the first time I've had to leave it.
Remember seeing repeats of this show as a kid, starred Herman Munster and Sgt. Ritzik.
Seemed funny at the time. Is it any good?
They made a film version in the 90s that comes in at 40 in IMDb's all time worst 100. Which is kind of impressive.
Eight episodes for a fiver and you're complaining? Jeez Jack - but I guess it's the principle you're concerned about..
Happy viewing anyway, I vaguely remember the show!
Forgot to mention, he was a great seller and he sent me a replacement, it was a mistake, great ebayer. Hence, I hope Aaron takes the wanker comment back.
In that case, yes.
Can you take back a wanker though?
Could be messy..
I saw Car 54 orignally in about 1964 when I was very young, too young to appreciate it in tbose days. Channel Four showed a good many episodes of the show in 1983. Its very underrated. Joe E Ross who played Gunther Toody in the series had previously appeared in Bilko which had the same creator as Car 54, Nat Hiken.
I am watching a lot of episodes of this show which was made in 1961-1963.
The first one I started with was "I Hate Captain Block" and the second one was "Boom Boom Boom".
They are BRILLIANT.
Joe E Ross incidentally - he's mentioned in this thread and has one of "the" comedy faces of all time - was a very colourful character in real life, marrying eight times and in each case to ex hookers. He often forgot his lines when in Bilko which made filming difficult and he was "relegated" but Nat Hiken still felt he would be right for Car 54 and dared to risk him. During the 60 episodes Fred Gwynne - another great "face" and theatre trained - would be frequently furious with him even to the extent of smashing his head against a locker. But the two together just worked visually. The introduction of "ooh, ooh" as Ross's character's catchphrase in the series was there partly so he had more time to recall his lines.
