Right then. What point size should I be writing to?

I'm doing 10 point at the moment but should I do 12? It will help me get to my target quicker.

12 point Ariel

That'll help. Thanks!

Got it up to 16 pages now.

What margins should I have? That could boost it a bit more.

You need 6000/7000 words Dave

I haven't got word count I'm afraid!

you just click on 'tools' at the top of the sceen when you are in your document

It ain't there I'm afraid - not on this steam driven thing anyway.

Just count them then.

Yea, count the words on a page then multiply that with the number of pages you have, it'll give you a rough idea.

But count any (LONG PAUSE)s as 5

;)

Why don't you email it to me Dave. I'll put it in my docs and do a word count and let you know.
I've already got mine written so wouldn't be nicking yours. The word count is important

Well he doesn't have any sitcom credits so I don't see why.

What about:

Writer for Bear Behaving Badly, Darrall Macqueen's CBBC sitcom. One episode commissioned to date.

and

1998 - Nominated for the TAPS writer of the year award for sit-com MY PERFECT COUSIN (showcased starring Tony Robinson)?

Not sour grapes 'cos didn't enter (no my limitations) however I think if this is true then something is wrong as Andrew obviously doesn't need any assistance in getting into the business.

Oh well.

People with agents shouldn't be allowed, surely?

I mean if you've got an agent you can get your work read quite easily!
