Was also traumatic! That damn chandelier got so close!

I was sat in the stalls the first time I saw it, but I knew what was going to happen as I'd listened to the soundtrack so much. My parents actually saw the original cast, with Michael FUCKING Crawford as Phantom. *jealous beyond belief*

I wish I had a widescreen TV. The magic of the film is pretty much lost on a 14" 4:3 set.
