The first working laser was demonstrated on May 16, 1960 by Theodore Maiman at Hughes Research Laboratories.(Wikipedia)

Oooh a fellow Arcade Fire fan, fantastic! I saw them live last year, it has been the high point of my life so far :D

I can't believe that I haven't got a chance to see them live yet! I love Will being crazy with his percussion! He can play so many instruments, but just chooses to bash things instead!

You have to see them live absolutely no kidding, it's a religious experience!

On Topic: I'd like to add Natalie Portman to my list in a half-hearted way, it's totally obligatory for every geeky boy ever to fancy her.

Even less likely to return to the UK as well, as long as they're all furtively recording more musical wonderment I can wait though.

I have been told the past week about 5 times that I have Régine hair-it has made my day on several occassions.

I just get told I have girly hair, I don't think it's a compliment in the same way that "Régine" hair is D:

Ah girly hair is good I think! But then again, I am a girl...it's kind of a compliment to me...:P Don't think it's that much of an insult to guys, either, personally.

....Shall I break it softely?

To take it as an insult would be mildly sexist wouldn't it?

Then it is resolved! I have girly hair and that's a good thing!

What? Something else for my book?
