Ooo, presents! I'm suddenly rather looking forward to marriage!

There had to be one I suppose.

Ah, marriage is great (13 years this year, and I still feel like a lucky beggar). But weddings? Eeesh! Months of planning and neither of us can remember more than five minutes' worth of the day.

Things I dread about the prospect of a wedding:

Food
Drink
Speeches
Being all emotional
Being the centre of attention
Cake
Having my photo taken
Having myself captured on video
Cost
Loud music
No Internet
No TV
Honeymoon - undoubtedly somewhere hot

I've suggested to M'Lady that we get a buffet a la KFC, but I don't think she took too kindly to the idea.

On the plus side, it's the one night you can be pretty certain you're going to get sex.

I want to get married... and be all beautiful for the day. And to be marrying the man I love with all of mine and his family and friends celebrating with us. It will be an understated wedding, but with a 40/50's band playing at the reception. I can't wait for the sex.
