I agree with you on the sentencing, and policing sooty. Personally I would like more prisons built, ideally out to sea.
I would not like to see Police with guns however, I know i'm coming across as a loon but I'm not really. I just dislike peadophiles and criminals in general. Oh and Glenn Hoddle, I hate that c**t.

There is nothing acceptable in having sex with anyone under 16. Kids can be pressured into it.
I have to admit though that I did vote for him in an Election and he did discover some talent (musical that is) such as 10cc who were brilliant until Godley and Creme left.
There's no way though that you can justify or encourage what he did, unless of course you've got similar leanings.

One of the things that angers me, is the way some criminals escape prison, or get their sentences reduced, because Judges say they aren't a threat to society. Whatever happened to simply being punished for committing the crime in the first place?! One of the things that stops people committing crimes, is the thought of being sent to prison for a long time. If this threat isn't there, acting as a deterrent, then crime will surely increase.
Oh for f**ks sake. I think Ronnie Biggs got a raw deal, better take my Oyster away sharpish.
I also felt Lee Harvey Oswald had a legitimate beef over Cuba, so a trip to the US is out?
It's this lame brained, you can't have sympathy unless you're the same that leads to Nazism, and Thatcherism. I think King should be punished, I think he's a soft populist target.
I also think criminalising normal sexual behaviour, is a sad backwards left over from Victorian era.
Countries that trust young people, more than we do, seem to have way, way less problems than we do.
I'd like to see our prisons fill up with people who should be there. I'd also like to see a return to the death sentence, public flogging, and forcable psychiatric treatment.
JKing is a distraction, and an irrelevance. He's also fairly unlikely to forcibly bum you on the top deck of a bus.
Unlike all those scum who want be charged for carrying knives in public.
When are people going to catch on. For each fairly harmless chap like King not going to prison. A real criminal gets a tag.
And frankly I was a youth worker for some time. I've known 12 years olds bringing up families, 16 is an utterly arbitrary division of age.
And no Dave I don't find children sexually attractive. Nor do I find childish attitudes very attractive either.

However, the problem isn't just prison sentences; the state of the prisons is more of a crime than those which gained the majority of occupants their residency. Take a lesson from the Victorians on the state of prisons, I say.

Do I tell people off? I only occasionally give a different point of view when I dont agree; there are a lot of big headed people on here who think their opinion is fact and get aggressive and talk down to people who dont agree. I just find it a little infuriating. Especially as Im always right.

Oh I say short harsh sentences, no TV, and prison loaf 3 times a day. That said what about exile? I dunno send them to SIberia or something, with their high prison mortality rate, they must have some spaces?
