Prince Philip on his last legs ???

http://petermusgrove.com/2008/05/14/fears-for-philip-in-coughing-fit/

Any views will be gratefully received.

You've written better, don't get me wrong it's very professional. But the style is a bit mean, and sadistic, and feels like you're saying the old gits on his way out good riddance.

Satire for me is anger well targetted, and this feels more of a fist wave at the old bastard.

Why not work in something on that stupid ITV show about him?

I agree, felt a bit harsh though i am no lover of royalty

Well the only good critique is honest critique, and in fairness you have written better stuff.

Prince Philip is one of those weirdly difficult guys to target correctly.

I dunno why, maybe it's cos underneath it all he seems quite like able?

Personally I think if you want him to cark it in comedy, I'd go for his lustiness.

Maybe Carla Brown-eye, or Kate Middleton, or even her Madge's perverted desire, left him with a grin on his face?

Or Harry shot him (mistaking Greek, for Afghan), or he's a tough old bird (not unlike a Hen Harrier).

There's tonnes of comedy gold there, so I'm afraid an oldish dog joke, and wishing him death don't quite cut it.

Hope this helps. And like I say you've written better, it's mean to be a compliment. I'd turning the Vegas one into a skit and send it to TS/NR.

I have put it into sketch form . What is TS/NR ?

PS THANKS FOR THE COMMENTS.

86!

He's bloody well preserved inn he?

Oddly enough I quite like him, doesn't stop me taking the piss.

But he's kinda like a turbo bad grandad on steroids, and I bet he had a crack at Carla Brown-eye.

I'll sue you you little bastard!
'HACK!'

you tell him!

the memories the first thing to go you know.
